About the Therapist

Born and raised in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Andrea first came to the USA in 2012 for her undergraduate studies. She officially immigrated in 2025.

As a minority and an immigrant, Andrea brings a unique perspective to the therapeutic space in understanding how cultural views and values can be deeply ingrained and affect one's view of and experience in relationships.

As someone who has endured and overcome a personal journey with anxiety and depression, Andrea has a deep empathy and understanding of how difficult it can be.

Struggling with life’s crossroads? Feeling uncertain about the next chapter? Stuck in patterns that you can’t seem to change? You’re alongside many others who share a similar experience.
Transitions and changes are an inevitable part of life — and when they begin to pile up, it’s natural to lose your sense of direction. Just like you, my clients are tired of feeling frustrated, anxious, and confused — and if you’re here now, it means you’re ready for something different. You are ready to move forward.
With extensive counseling experience in outpatient programs, university settings, and the public health sector, I bring a unique blend of both knowledge and empathy to the therapeutic space. As a therapist with a client-centered approach, my clients find a safe, supportive space for reflection and growth while still allowing them to set the pace. Through our work, we strive to discover perspective, clarity, and a renewed sense of direction — helping them gain the confidence to move toward the life they want.
Whether we’re looking back to uncover unhealthy patterns or developing hands-on strategies and practical ways to reach your goals, I hope to be a source of comfort and security. It’s true — life transitions can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to navigate them alone. I will be your ever-present advocate as we walk the path of continuous learning towards meaningful change and lifelong healing.
No matter how big or small the challenge may feel, I am here to help you unravel the tangled knots of whatever we find along the way. If you’re ready to walk the path to healing, take that first step and call me today for a free consultation.
