Does your mind feel like it never really shuts off? Is constant, intrusive thoughts, or nonstop doubt disrupting your happiness, your work, or your relationships? Maybe you’ve been feeling down, disconnected, or just run down from trying to manage it all. Many of my clients tell me the same thing, and I know coping with it alone is tough.

Clients seek me out for warm, grounded, and non-judgmental care shaped by specialized clinical training, as well as my experience living with lifelong obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). I help people with OCD, anxiety, phobia, and depression understand the patterns forming their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. As a queer trans woman, I'm also sensitive to the LGBTQ+ issues, struggles, and injustices we face each day.

I know what it’s like to walk into a place full of worry, anxiety, and What If. I’ve lived with thought loops that never end, and not being able to put events to rest. I’ve checked obsessively, been afraid to let my guard down, and had panic attacks because social situations were too hard or too overwhelming. I’ve felt the strain in personal, professional, and romantic relationships. I get what it feels like when someone doesn’t understand why you can’t just “get over it”.

As a lesbian transwoman, I face the same challenges, stereotypes, and dangers as my fellow folx in the LGBTQ+ community. I feel the strain, the trauma, the loss. But I also feel the joy, the thrill, and the love that our special journey brings. That’s why I dedicate my career to helping people who feel just like me. In your sessions, you’ll be with someone who didn’t gain their knowledge or experience from a classroom or Youtube. I’ve earned it through living it myself every day.

My sessions give you space to work toward clarity in a calm, stable environment. Other times, you may need room to think, experience, and just exist without feeling pressured to fill each silent moment. Your session may include cognitive behavioral therapy to challenge unhealthy thought patterns. We may do exposure response prevention if you’re struggling with repetitive behaviors, obsessive checking, or fear about bodily contamination. Some days, you might just want to take things slower and have a safe place to take some deep breaths—or even a few laughs. Your needs come first, always. Together, we'll pair insight with goal-oriented steps and real actions that create positive, lasting change.

Whether anxiety has you questioning everything, depression is making you feel detached, repetitive thoughts or phobias are exhausting, or grief is consuming your life, you don’t have to face it alone.

The first step is usually the hardest. Together, we’ll focus on coping with the tough stuff and finding your path forward, one step at a time.

Queer, Here, and Proud of it

As a queer and transwoman, Sibyl experienced significant hardships following her choice to come out in early 2026. Though she denied and feared her identity for a long time, she has since learned to embrace her true self, and is ready to help fellow LGBTQ+ folx live their best lives, authentically and joyfully.

Mother And Child

Animal lover

Sibyl has had countless loving relationships with animals throughout her lifetime – cats, dogs, horses, rabbits, birds, and even monkeys! Not bad for a gal who was born and raised in the city of Chicago. She is currently the proud “meowther” of six crazy cats, Flick, Ice, Tarot, Ouija, Nola, and Countess, and one wild but sweet Golden Retriever named Buffy. All rescues!

A Natural connection

Sibyl is a firm believer in nature's restorative powers, having always found peace, harmony, and spiritual bliss in it's majestic splendor. Whether she’s hiking, camping, surfing, boating, Jeep four-wheeling…when life gets to be too much, Mother Nature’s nurturing arms never fails to provide renewal and refreshment to her soul.
